The storm led to many church event cancellations in the area, including gym night at Saint Edmond, Prairie Lakes’ Angel Tree party at Fort Frenzy, pizza and trivia night at Good Shepherd, and children’s Christmas rehearsal and party at CrossWay Church.

4-H and Fort Dodge Parks and Recreation also had cancellations. The Holiday Workshop at Blanden Art Education Center hosted by Facing Autism was postponed.
