The recently announced Webster County Sheriff’s Office mobile application has gone live on the Google Play Store and the App Store for Apple products. The app was announced in late October by Sheriff Luke Fleener. The app is titled ‘Webster County Sheriff Iowa’, and is free for download.
At the top of the app is a Welcome letter from the Sheriff, along with contact information and Meet Our Team section, containing biographies of members of the administration team.
The app has quite a few other features including Inmate Search, Sex Offenders, News and Alerts, Submit a Tip and Jail Information. The app will guide you to forms required to obtain, renew, or acquire weapons permits. There is a Jail Information section that helps with bond information, inmate funds, and inmate mail and other jail related functions.
The Inmate Search section appears to show a current roster of inmates currently housed in the Webster County Jail, complete with with booking date and charges each particular the inmate is facing.
The Sex Offender section will take you to a page that will let you search by name, status, or address. There is also an interactive map, allowing users to browse and explore Webster County, zooming in on different areas and ultimately pulling up offender information.
