The Fort Dodge City Council will review a couple commissioner nominations to the Webster County Public Safety Authority at their regularly scheduled meeting tomorrow evening.

According to the correspondence from David Fierke, City Manager, Ryan Gruenbuerg is recommended as the City elected commissioner, as well as Vickie Reeck as the joint City County Commissioner.
Ryan Gruenberg is currently the Vice President of Operations at Iowa Central Community College. He certifies that he is a Fort Dodge resident. Prior to joining ICCC, Gruenberg worked for the City of Fort Dodge Police Department for over 10 years, achieving the rank of Captain and Public Information Officer.
Vickie Reeck recently retired as Fort Dodge’s Community and Economic Development Manger after nearly 40 years of service with the City. She currently works as a Planner for Snyder and Associates, a frequently used design and engineering firm used by the City of Fort Dodge.
The resolution to elect commissioners will have to be affirmed by the City Council before taking effect. Reecks nomination will also have to be approved by the Webster County Board of Supervisors. A County commissioner for the Public Safety Authority has not yet been slated for formal action.
