A troubled Fort Dodge property recently changed hands, according to Webster County Assessor online records. The building formerly known as Countryside Inn, situated at 324 Kenyon Road, was recently purchased by Rojohn Commercial Storage, LLC.

Rojohn Commercial Storage, LLC is a close neighbor to the building according to the records. The owners address on file also shares an address with Rojohn Home Improvement.
The Towers Motel was previously owned by Harvest Estates, a corporation based in Tupelo, Mississippi. Under their ownership, the hotel slowly degraded to the point of closure.
The Countryside Inn was no stranger to State regulators. During a May of 2022 inspection, it was noted that some walls and ceilings had a “build-up debris”, window screen with holes or gaps, air gaps under door, “a larger hole” in wall, sinks leaking, showers leaking and tiles missing, and ice machine inoperative.
The property was also on the City of Fort Dodge’s radar, for unpaid water bills and violations for securement of property and removal and disposal of miscellaneous items.
