Shemar Forbes failed to return to the Fort Dodge Residential Center as required on June 19th, 2026.
Forbes is serving time for Willful Injury in Webster County, along with additional convictions for Domestic Abuse and Assault on a Peace Officer.
Forbes is a 25 year-old, , 5’1″ 258-pound Black Male. He was admitted to the work release facility on March 27th, 2026.
The Iowa Department of Corrections is seeking assistance from the public in locating Forbes. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is encouraged to contact local law enforcement.
