The North Central Iowa Regional Solid Waste Agency held their regular Executive Board meeting on June 17, 2025. at 5:30 PM.
The Board approved a group of raises that went into effect on July 1st, 2025. Of the raises, 4 of them were step increased, and 22 were 3%.
A Paid Time Off buy back was approved as a one-time incident for 5 employees.
COO Mark Campbell reported R&J Materials presented dozer training, and each employee took a test after at the last May Safety Meeting. Alcohol and Substance Abuse Training video and test was presented at the last June Safety Meeting.
The Board moved to go into Close Session for professional evaluation. The Board returned to open session, and approved a $5,000 salary increase for COO Mark Campbell per his offer of employment. Campbell was hired January 24th 2025, and was given a $100,000 annual salary, with a performance review for an additional $5,000 in six months.
