The Fort Dodge City Council is slated to take action on the Outdoor Plaza portion of the Corridor Plaza at their regularly scheduled meeting Monday.
The item will be authorizing an Economic Development Grant to Crossroads Plaza Development LLC towards the construction of the Outdoor Plaza in the amount of $1,850,000. The grant would be funded from Tax Increment Financing (TIF) revenue.
Also included with the item is a Development Agreement for the Council to review. The Development Agreement lays out a timeframe for construction and completion. If agreed to by both parties and executed, the project could be bid out as early as this spring, with substantial completion this fall.
The Outdoor Plaza would be located on the North side of the Pavilion, which is currently under construction.
