
We received a tip last week that there were federal law enforcement agents, believed to be Immigration and Customs Enforcement, in the area. We were not able to confirm as of posting this article, but we did located a recent ICE arrestee that was identified as arrested in the Fort Dodge area.
Ali Lutfi Salih, identified as being from Iraq, was taken into custody in the Fort Dodge area, according to information obtained from United States Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement records. Salih is reportedly in the United States illegally. While here, Salih was convicted of burglary and larceny. Salih is currently detained at the Hardin County Correctional Center in Eldora.
Others arrested in Fort Dodge include:
– Yunierquis Estopinan Hernandez of Cuba, convicted of larceny. Hernandez had been in the news in the past for being involved in thefts from more the 20 Ulta locations nationwide.
– Alfredo Morales-Hernandez of Mexico, convicted of assault.
– Antonio Fonseca-Garcia of Mexico, convicted of flight to avoid (prosecution, confimement, etc.), traffic offense, driving under the influence of liquor.
– Mabior Akur of South Sudan, convicted of assault, cruelty toward child.
– Paulino Perez Mondrago of Mexico, convicted of assault, conceal stolen property, and robbery.
It is unknown when these other arrests actually occurred. The other 5 arrestees were not immediately located in detention facilities. All these arrests are part of the current administration’s campaign to deport individuals who they consider the ‘worst of the worst’.
