The Webster County Board of Supervisors will meet tomorrow morning for a regular business meeting.
One of the most watched items on the agenda includes the approval of 28E agreements brought forth by the Emergency Medical Services Advisor Council. These agreements will funnel much needed funding from the County to recommended individual departments. The new funding is a direct result of a vote of Webster County electors.

Also, a Fort Dodge Police officer is slated to join the Webster County Sheriffs Department. Officer Tim Hopwood has been offered a position with the Department, pending Board approval. If approved by the Board, Hopwood would start in his new capacity on February 2nd.
Committee and board assignments will also be touched on by Supervisors. This is a normal housekeeping task as the new calendar year gets under way.
The Board will also move into a closed session for discussions, in accordance with Iowa Code 21.5(1)(i). The purpose of the closed session is “To evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance, or discharge is being considered when necessary to prevent needless and irreparable injury to that individual’s reputation and that individual requests a closed session.”
The meeting will be held at 10:00AM in the Board of Supervisors Room at the Webster County Courthouse.
